Wine + Mint

I felt like a princess in this gorgeous lehenga from none other than India Boulevard. As usual, the service was excellent, where sizing and the look and feel ended up being perfect the day that it shipped and I tried it on (FYI, this was a day before my flight to Tampa for a wedding; I'll never learn). Luckily, IB came to the rescue with quick communication and turnaround re: shipping date and expectations.

I didn't put my own spin or customization on this - largely because of the time factor - but also because... it's pretty perfect already. The deep magenta and mint are beautifully complemented with the light pink undertones in the border. The pearl detailing was also a huge selling point, inspiring me to pair the outfit with jewelry from my own Mehndi which includes pearls and deep purple (which kind of happened to be in the same color family as the blouse!)

Olive Tobi Shift Dress

As I frantically spray dry shampoo in my hair, while rolling through my work e-mail inbox, making sure my makeup is covering stress zits, I'm tasked with figuring out what to wear within a 2 minute timeline. This Tobi Swoop In Shift Dress is one piece that solves that problem.

The best thing about a shift dress = comfort, ease, and instantly flattering. I'm in love with the neutral color, the fact he can be dressed up or down, and that the V neckline allows for either a show-stopping necklace or statement earrings. Pairing the dress with these Steve Madden ankle boots gives some character while remaining playful and casual for my Friday at work.

You can shop this dress for ONLY $31 in 5 gorgeous neutrals: Black, Ivory, Navy, Olive, Rose!

I decided to wear a simple cami underneath because I needed some extra coverage in that oh-so-busty area of mine. #REALTALK

EMBROIDERED JEANS

The weather's been a little funky here in Atlanta, going from 80s to 60s without any warning & vice versa. Note to self: stop putting away the sweaters. I definitely make sure to keep my denim jeans and sweaters available should I need to dress for evening or cooler days as they randomly show up this month. Doesn't mean I still can't enjoy an iced green tea tho.

These jeans are super comfy and have a pretty embroidery near the left pocket. I'm super stoked to wear these throughout the summer (and maybe even cut the hems myself since, as usual, my jeans are too long - and unkempt hems are resurfacing). Here's a link to the ribbed sweater (only $15!). Scroll to bottom for more links to similar items.
