Shirt Slits and Shoulders

So I've only recently caught on with this whole off-shoulder trend; I felt like I had to have flawless collar bones to rock this look, but believe it or not, it's pretty flattering either way. The versatility of this SheIn top is surprising; thought it was a one occasion type of shirt, but realized it can be worn in so many different ways, whether paired with shorts or skinny jeans/leggings or tied up with a maxi skirt; I can see this being a fabulous neutral go-to since its cut provides all the flair! The necklace was on sale at H&M while the shoes were not, but still a purchase I don't regret (FYI they're only $20 now -- see links below!).

THE CLASSIC SHIFT DRESS

I recall running around town after lunch in Chicago with my husband (fiance at that time) and begged to stop at LOFT (maybe a few more stores) just to have a peek. He's always sweet about letting me run into a store for about 5 minutes until he either gets bored or wants to focus on items for himself to alleviate his boredom! So I took a look around and bam, I found my one-hit-wonder dress. Every time I'm in a rush to work (which is a lot), this dress is always calling me, and I oblige as often as I can without wearing it too often. It's so perfect and flatters my body type (unless there's wind as seen in some of these pics, ha!) without being too baggy. Perfect for casual or professional settings, IMO.

BLAZIN' THROUGH

This blazer has been so easy to throw on, sleeves rolled up or down; I got it for a mere $17 at a vintage store in NYC a while ago (sorry if that doesn't help you - I have similar products linked below. I always opt for over-sized blazers to add structure and flair to a look - super tight blazers are limiting, esp for bigger busted ladies. This patterned J.Crew skirt has often sat in my closet, unworn; I finally realized it's best put to use with neutral pieces; definitely excited to re-style it in the future! Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts on styling with blazers <3
